The Care Bears' Nutcracker Suite aired on TV in 1988. This special was originally planned as a theatrical release, but due to the financial failure of The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland in 1987, it premiered on television instead. It was broken down into 3 segments and aired as a "To Be Continued" Series on the cartoon. It is approximately 61 minutes long. In November of 2006, it became available for purchase on DVD.
